Delivering a package

Carrier was walking back to his vehicle after delivering a parcel at [REDACTED] when he slipped on ice and fell to the ground. He injured his back in the process. He thought he was ok and finished his day. He came to work the [REDACTED] and was sore but said he thought he was ok. As the morning progressed he got worse and could barely bend over. He wanted to go home and put ice on his back. He called in the [REDACTED] and then came in on [REDACTED] stating he wants to report it as an accident because he was only getting worse. He did report this to management immediately after it happened.
