Before the incident

Blending Operator was working by blend tank 8 when he needed to grab pick up some 50lbs. ingredient bags that were needed for his batch.

What happened

While handling one of the ingredient bags he felt a “pop” in his lower back. He tried to walk it off and continue to blend his batch. After while he tried to walk it off he proceeded to throw in an additional small container of mixed ingredients that had been weighed out already.
