Escorting patient in his wheelchair to infusion bay

What happened

Patient [REDACTED] presented for chemo infusion appointment [REDACTED]. Patient is morbidly obese approximately 435 pounds and wheelchair bound. Patient asked for assistance transferring to chair at start of infusion appointment. I asked the patient to wait a moment- patient insisted I didn 't need another staff member since he only needed a hand to hold. I told my NTL and a fellow RN that I needed assistance transferring patient because I did not feel safe transferring him alone. One other RN [REDACTED] was able to come assist. Patient stood but was unsteady and leaned heavily on two RN 's arms to push himself up. Immediately after assisting patient I felt moderate pain in my right upper shoulder midback. Of note patient also needed help with his toileting needs during his infusion. Patient stated he needed to use the restroom. I again didn 't feel safe transferring him solo so reached out to NTL [REDACTED] for help. We opted to offer him a urinal vs ambulating him and patient was agr
