Before the incident

Worker was covering HVAC grill covers with plastic. The worker had been experiencing discomfort and pain in his hip when doing a variety of physical activities particularly after taking breaks and sitting.

What happened

The worker stepped over a wall about 30 high to access the HVAC closet and noticed increased pain. He was limping and noticed by the Superintendent. The worker was to go to Urgent Care the following morning and used a plastic ball to massage the area of pain while at home.
