Before the incident

EE had just started his shift and took a new knife from one of our Fastenal vending machines for work purposes.

What happened

EE removed the sealed plastic from the box knife and opened it to insert the blade as intended. He put the knife back together and then put it in his right front pocket. [REDACTED] he reached into his front pocket to retrieve the knife and realized he had cut his right index finger.
