What happened

Employee was on the ridge of a residential roofing for a customer that was getting a new roof and was using a pneumatic nail gun to nail down shingle. He held the nail gun in his right hand and was bracing the shingles with his left hand. He did not move his left hand out of the way in time and was moving quickly with the nail gun and shot a nail through his left index finger. An ambulance was called and the employee was taken to the hospital to have the nail removed.
