What happened

TM was using a handheld tape gun without wearing cut resistant gloves. The tape gun was not working properly and the tape was getting stuck. As the TM pulled really hard to get the tape to dispense the serrated blade gouged the TM 's thumb at the first joint. PIC - requiring 5 stitches
