[REDACTED] was gathering materials to go inside the crawlspace to start forming a load pier.

[REDACTED] entered the crawlspace and was hammering 2x4 's together to make a form. He took his safety glasses off and placed them on his head so he could see better. He went to hammer a nail and the hammer did not strike the nail cleanly. The nail bounced off the 2x4 and hit his left eye.

He cut part of the sclera of his left eye and also had a small cut on his cornea..
