Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Employees installing plywood roof deck and performing miscellaneous work inside and throughout the wood trusses were exposed to fall hazards from approximately 10' 5" to ground from trusses, approximately 12' 9" from roof peak to mechanical room floor, and approximately 13' over roof eave edges to ground. Feasible and acceptable means of fall protection include, but not limited to: Safety nets, ladders, scaffolds, catch platforms, safety lines with body harnesses, manbaskets, platform lifts, aerial lifts or any safe combination of the above.
