Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees driving propane-driven forklifts and not using their seat belts. A feasible means of abatement would be to insure that employees wear their seat belts when driving a vehicle. Employees were not using the provided seat belts when operating the forklifts. NO CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
