Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free of recognized hazards that were likely to cause serious physical harm or death in that employees were exposed to electrical hazards and potential struck-by hazards by: 1) Electrical cords were damaged. 2) The operators controls were not directionally labeled. Among feasible abatement methods is to comply with the ANSI standards for Monorail and Underhung Cranes, ANSI B30.11 - 1988. CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
