Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a. On or about July 18, 2001, at the above addressed jobsite, a crane was operated on ground which was not level. A feasible means of abatement would be to ensure compliance with Moving the Load subpart of ANSI B.30.5-1968 Crawler, Locomotive and Truck Cranes.
