North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)jobsite, one employee was exposed to fall hazards while being transported on a material platform attached to the forks of a Sky Trak. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide a personnel platform which complies to the design requirements listed in ANSI/ASME B56.6-1992, Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks, and to secure the platform to the lifting carriage or forks.ge
