Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive injuries due to falling of an employee. At the construction
site, an employee
was working over surface 6 inches wide by 5 feet long, 5 feet high and
angle 23 grade
approximately with chipping hammer trademark Makita, model HR3851 doing a
hole.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct
this
hazard is to provide fall arrest system.
a.  Recibir lesiones debido a caida de empleado. En el sitio en
construccion, un empleado
estaba trabajando sobre superficie de 6 pulgs. ancho por 5 pies largo por
5 pies  alto y
un angulo 23 grados aproximadamente con martillo-cincel marca Makita,
modelo
HR3851 haciendo un agujero. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y
posible de
corregir este riesgo es proveer un sistema de detencion de caidas.
