Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to collpase of record boxes which were placed in a storeroom over employees height, without portable ladder or equivalent or with the help of another worker. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is by the used of a portable ladder or two person doing the job. a. Recibir lesiones debido al colapso de las cajas de expedientes que eran colocadas en una hilera superior a la estatura de los empleados en el area almacen, sin el uso de una escalera portatil o equivalente o mediante la ayuda de otro trabajador. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es mediante el uso de una escalera portatil o su equivalente o hacer el trabajo entre dos.
