Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards including, but not limited to: An employee at the jobsite was using the bucket of a Case 60XT Skid Loader as a work platform that was elevated to a height of approximately 12-16 feet. The employee was exposed to hazards associated with falls. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS: Operate the Case 60XT Skid Loader in accordance with the manufacturers operator's recommendations.Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET.
