29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1):   The employer must submit to the Agency, along with the information on abatement certification required by paragraph (c)(3) of this section, documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required:    (a)  The employer failed to provide documentation demonstrating the abatement methods and completion as cited in Citation 1 Item 1 for hazards associated with:    1) Overloading a lifting magnet used to lift and move steel plate and   2) Instructing employees in the use of the magnet and performing an assessment of materials to be lifted to ensure the capacity of the magnet is not exceeded

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):     The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in-that employee(s) were exposed to crushing hazards:    (a) A PowerLift lifting magnet used to lift and move steel plate with a DEMAG overhead crane was loaded in excess of the magnets rated load capacity, exposing the employee(s) to a crushing hazard.  Steel plate lifted weighed 1672 pounds, exceeding the lifting magnets maximum rated capacity of 1300 pounds.     (b) Employee(s) were not instructed in the use of the magnet and in the steps of performing an assessment of materials to be lifted to ensure capacity of the Below-the-Hook Lifting Device is not exceeded.
