29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):     Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a) 1104 SE Kingscross Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64014; Employees roofing a house were not protected from fall hazards by use of appropriate personal fall arrest system or implementation of an adequate fall protection system.     Abated during inspection. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):     Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:    (a) 1104 SE Kingscross Road, Blue Springs, MO 64014: Employees were accessing the roof using a portable extension ladder that was extended less than 3 feet above the edge of the roof.
