29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:    The employer does not ensure that the top of a stepladder is not used by employees as a step. This violation was observed on or about August 28, 2012, when employees installing electrical equipment were exposed to a fall hazard while standing on the top of a stepladder ladder.     Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all ladders are set up and used in accordance to the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1053.
