29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(vi): A fire extinguisher, rated not less than 10B, was not provided within 50 feet of wherever more than 5 gallons of flammable or combustible liquids or 5 pounds of flammable gas were being used on the jobsite:  a. Site- Employees were not protected from fire and entrapment hazards while working in a four story, multiunit, wood framed apartment building where there were no fire extinguishers present in the building. Two metal gas cans containing more than 5 gallons of gasoline were stored on the first floor next to the air compressor.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a. Site- The controlling contractor failed to ensure that workers were protected from falls greater than six feet while framing a multi-story wood structure.    TRB Development Group, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1026.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315110221, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 4/27/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1057 Boston Post Road, Guilford, CT 06437. The final order date for the citation was on 5/19/2011after signing an informal settlement agreement.
