29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about January 15, 2013, in the production area: Employees performing printing work were exposed to eye, skin, and lung irritation while using chemicals which include but is not limited Gloss UV Coating, and Isopropanol when the employer did not perform a hazard assessment to determine hazards and how to minimize those hazards.

29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: On or about January 15, 2013, in the production area: Employees performing printing work were exposed to skin irritation while using chemicals which include but is not limited to Gloss UV Coating and Isopropanol when the employer did not provide adequate personal protective equipment to protect the employees.
