29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When a person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she may contact was not kept more than 10 feet from the overhead lines.    a)  Ceylon Ave. & Sunset Dr. South, Pelican Island, Berkley Twsp., NJ:     While removing debris from Superstorm Sandy, an employee was operating a truck mounted grappler boom.  The grappler claw came in contact with energized overhead power lines.  Observed on 01/11/2013.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
