29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). Note: If using these systems was infeasible or created a greater hazard, the employer should develop and implement a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. a) 681 John Street, Teaneck, NJ: Employee was exposed to fall hazard in excess of 22 feet while working on the roof of residential construction without use of guard rails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems, on or about 03/01/13. The company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314677550, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/23/11, with respect to a workplace located at 23 Sunset Ave., North Arlington, NJ.
