29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii):  Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level:    a)  FedEx Bldg., 40 Kennedy Road, South Windsor, CT.  - On or about 3-6-13 - Employee working in a JLG aerial lift installing electrical conduit at the ceiling was exposed to a fall hazard by using a 6 foot lanyard with shock absorbing system for fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii):  The employer did not assure that each employee, as necessary, had been trained by a competent person in the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used:    a)  FedEx Bldg., 40 Kennedy Road, South Windor, CT. - On or about 3-6-13 - Employee was observed working in an aerial lift using the wrong type of fall protection system exposing him to a 10 to 20 foot fall hazard.
