(a) 116 Waverly Avenue, Newton MA 02458   On or about 4/24/2013, an employee was hoisted to an elevated work area by connecting his body harness directly to the crane hook, where the employee did not have control over his movement in any direction.

29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(iii)(A): Vehicles or mechanical equipment capable of having parts of their structures elevated near energized overhead lines were not operated so that a clearance of 10 feet (305 cm) was maintained:   (a) Location: 116 Waverly Avenue, Newton MA, 02035   On or about 4/24/2013, a mobile crane was used to hoist a section of a tree from its main trunk that was within 10 feet of overhead power lines, without taking precautionary measures to prevent electric shock type injuries.
