Observed on or about 4/5/13.      NOTE:  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.50(g): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    a) Oxford Mills - An employee was spraying the brick walls on the outside of the building with Sure Klean Heavy Duty Paint Stripper, which is corrosive and has a pH of 14.0, and the employer did not provide an eye wash/drench hose for flushing the eyes and body within the immediate work area, exposing employees to burns.  Observed on or about 4/5/13.      NOTE:  No abatement certification or documentation required.
