29 CFR 1910.179(n)(4)(i): The upper limit switch of each hoist was not tried out under no load, at the beginning of each operator's shift: a) At the worksite and on September17, 2013, a 5 ton Load Lifter overhead crane with a Shaw hoist had been operated that day without first testing the upper limit switch of the hoist at the beginning of the shift.
