29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1):  Construction areas were not posted with legible traffic signs at points of hazards:      a) The violations was most recently observed on or about October 18, 2013, at or about 1700 Hassell Rd., where the employer did not provide at least one advanced warning sign to warn road of a lane closure ahead, thereby exposing employees in the work zone to struck-by hazards, as required by the Part VI of the MUTCD 1988 Edition, Section 6F-1b(2).        b) The violations was most recently observed on or about October 18, 2013, at or about 1700 Hassell Rd., where the employer did not provide at least one advanced warning sign to warn road users that road work is taking place in the traveled way, thereby exposing employees in the work zone to struck-by hazards, as required by the Part VI of the MUTCD 1988 Edition, Section 6F-1b(4).        No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.202: Barricades for protection of employees did not conform to the portions of the American National Standards Institute D6.1-1971, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, relating to barricades:  c) The violations was most recently observed on or about October 18, 2013, at or about 1700 Hassell Rd., where the employer did not provide at channelizing devices to divert road users from their normal path of travel, thereby exposing employees in the work zone to struck-by hazards, as required by the Part VI of the MUTCD 1988 Edition, Section 6F-5(a). 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):  Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(b) or 1926.652(c):        a)  Employees working in an excavation up to approximately 8' 2" in depth were exposed to cave-in hazards.       In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
