29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure    Cherokee Bear Zoo: On or about 10/23/13, multiple flexible cords were being used in lieu of fixed wiring to provide electrical power to a refrigerator, heater, freezer and shop equipment.    Cherokee Bear Zoo, 1204 Tsalagi Road: On or about 10/23/13, multiple flexible cords ran through holes cut into the sheet metal walls of a building.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.  Cherokee Bear Zoo:  Light fixture flexible cord protective cover was damaged.  Strain relief was pulled away from the terminal connection.
