29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: At the location of 12305 W. 160th St, in Overland Park, KS, an employee engaged in adding holiday lights was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet at one area and then 18 feet at another area from the eave to the ground below. The employee was exposed in that a fall protection system was not in place to keep him from falling.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: At the location of 12305 W. 160th St, in Overland Park, KS, employees engaged in adding holiday lights were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet at one area and then 18 feet at another area from the eave to the ground below. The employees were exposed in that a training program associated with working in high places, to recognize and to minimize the hazards of falling.
