29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    (a) Procesing Area:  The blade guard on the Butcher Boy Meat Cutting Band Saw was not adjusted down over the unused portion of the blade.  This exposed the employee's hand to contacting the eight inches of exposed blade while pushing the meat thru the saw blade as observed on November 6, 2013.    (b) Processing Area:  The Butcher Boy Meat Cutting Band Saw did not have the push guard installed on the sliding table to protect the operator's hand while pushing the meat through the saw blade as observed on November 6, 2013.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
