29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: a) On or about December 10, 2013 the employer failed to implement engineering and/or administrative controls to control employee's exposure to occupational noise. An employee working in the braiding room was over exposed to noise at an eight hour time weighted average of 93.1 dBA which exceeds the action limit of 85 dBA and the OSHA permissible exposure limit of 90 dBA.
