29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY EQUIPMENT AND CONDITION(S))(STATE HAZARD(S) TO EMPLOYEE(S)NOTE: KNOTS IN CORDS, WINDING WITH TAPE, SPECIAL FITTINGS OR OTHER APPROVED MEANS OF CONNECTION ARE ACCEPTABLE (NEC 40010) 1910 a) On or about November 14, 2013 flood light use to keep the air compressor from freezing was not connecting to prevent the elcetrical cord strain release breaking. b) On or about Novemeber 14, 2013 electrical cord plugged into an elctrical outlet exposing live wiring because of broken strain release.
