29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.    Worksite: The employee who was installing wood sheathing with a pneumatic nail gun was not wearing eye protection.      Framco Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 894626, citation number 1, item number 2a, issued on 3/25/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 593 Main St., Ridgefield, CT and became a final order on 4/18/2013.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    Worksite: The employees who were working on the top of the second floor of the building under construction at a height above six feet were not protected from fall hazards by the use guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems, a controlled access zone with monitor or a fall protection plan.     Framco Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 894626, citation number 1, item number 2a, issued on 3/25/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 593 Main St., Ridgefield, CT and became a final order on 4/18/2013.
