29 CFR 1910.107(b)(9): A clear space of not less than 3 feet on all sides around the spray booth were not kept free from storage or combustible construction: a.) Berenfield Containers, Inc., 304 Main Avenue, Warren, Pa 16365, Shell lining spray booth area, on or about February 14, 2014 and times prior thereto: Employees perform painting/coating operations in an Excel brand Shell lining enclosed spray paint booth. Materials including, but not limited to, a workbench, Hopes Blend 50/50 cleaning solvents, were stored within one foot of the shell lining spray booth. b.) Berenfield Containers, Inc., 304 Main Avenue, Warren, Pa 16365, parts lining booth area, on or about February 14, 2014 and times prior thereto: Employees perform painting/coating operations in an Excel brand parts lining spray paint booth. Materials including, but not limited to, a worktable, metal containers containing used and unused rags, were stored within one foot of the parts lining spray booth.

Berenfield Containers, Inc., 304 Main Avenue, Warren, Pa 16365, Shell lining (Excel brand) spray booth area, on or about February 14, 2014 and times prior thereto: Company employee utilized metallic scrapers, which were not non-sparking, to perform cleaning operations of combustible residues from the interior surfaces of the shell lining spray booth.
