29 CFR 1926.761(b): Fall hazard training. The employer shall train each employee exposed to a fall hazard in accordance with the requirements of this section. The employer shall institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program. Location: 298 20th St., Brooklyn, NY. a) Employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from falling while working and/or walking near unprotected sides or edges at the site. Employees were exposed to potential fall hazards of up to approximately 40 ft while installing q-decking. Fall protection retraining is required; on or about 3/14/14.
