The truck was not taken out of service until it had been restored to safe operating condition.  On 3/13/2014, employees working at Big St. Charles Motorsports located at 3830 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO, were operating forklifts in need of repair, defective and unsafe.  The forklifts were not taken out of service until they were restored to safe operating condition.  The company utilizes the following forklifts during daily operations:  1.  Clark forklift, SN GPX-230-0117-8530, had a defective/inoperable horn and was missing a rear light. 2.  Mitsubishi, SN W4075, Forklifts had a defective/inoperable horn, broken rear light and broken fan near the operator.
