29 CFR 1910.107(l)(1): Electrical equipment and other sources of ignition did not conform to the requirements of paragraphs (c)(1)(i)-(iv), (8) and (9)(i) of this section and subpart S of this part:    a) Powder Room, 1400 Laurel Boulevard, Pottsville, PA - Employees used a portable Fostoria Docklight Model DKL-40VA-FL-A, a potential ignition source, to provide illumination in the spraying area of the Nordson Excel 2000 Powder Coating Booth (Serial No. 01-084-318) while powder coating metal receptacles. Employees were exposed to fire and/or explosion hazards, on or about April 5, 2014.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1910.107(l)(4)(i): All areas were not kept free of the accumulation of powder coating dust:    a) Powder Room, 1400 Laurel Boulevard, Pottsville, PA - Employees used a portable Fostoria Docklight Model DKL-40VA-FL-A with a CFL bulb that was covered with powder coating dust while powder coating metal receptacles. Employees were exposed to fire and/or explosion hazards, on or about April 3, 2014.      In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.
