29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: a. West side of the construction site, employees were exposed to a possible concrete curb wall collapse, in that, a trench was dug under the concrete curb wall adjacent to the sidewalk without providing any support to prevent it from collapsing into the trench.
