Where wet processes are used, drainage was not maintained, and false floors, platforms, mats, or other dry standing places was not provided where practicable: Employees performing machine operation in the blade sharpening area were exposed to slip hazards and the employer did not provide, where practicable, mats or other dry standing places.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by this standard, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures: Employees working by machine #6 or #8 which had exposed live wiring carrying 110 volts protruding from the control box were exposed to electrical shock hazards and the employer did not ensure live parts of electrical equipment were guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets.
