29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 6-25-14, employees who were installing trusses were walking/working on the bottom chords of trusses approximately ten and one half (10.5) feet above concrete surface without utilizing fall protection equipment. b) On or about 6-25-14, an employee who was installing trusses was walking/working from the top surface of a vault structure approximately eight and one half (8.5) feet above concrete surface without utilizing fall protection equipment. c) On or about 6-25-14, an employee who was installing trusses was walking on the wall top plate approximately eleven (11) feet above compacted surface without utilizing fall protection equipment.
