29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): Eye and face protective equipment being used did not used meet the requirements specified in Z 87.1-1968  At this excavation site, employees working inside a trench installing new utility lines were not wearing safety glasses or a face shield when cutting utility pipes, thus exposing them to possible flying particles from the cutting of the utility pipes.
