29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:       In the Kitchen Area on the Reitz Blender: The employer is failing to ensure that one or more methods of guarding are used to protect employees are protected from the ingoing nip points and rotating parts created by the augers on the blender. On or about 7-22-2014 an employee suffered an amputation when contact was made with the rotating auger of the Blender during cleaning.
