29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   On or about 10/14/2014 at the Thomaston Valley Village Construction Project, employees were working from roof decks installing shingles and were using pneumatic nail guns without eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about 10/14/2014 at the Thomaston Valley Village Construction Project, employees were working from roof decks installing shingles and no fall protection system in use.  Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), the employer must provide documentation that this violation has been abated within 15 calendar days of the date it receives this citation.
