29 CFR 1910.134(l)(1): Evaluations of the workplace were not conducted to ensure the written respiratory protection program was being effectively implemented: At this establishment, there were no evaluations of the respiratory protection program; employees were utilizing a half face respirator to protect themselves against gases and vapors when employees were tasked to empty containers such as weed eaters, gas blowers etc. which contained liquids into a chemical barrel. The employees used a half face respirator to protect themselves from fumes and/or vapors without being informed of the maintenance, cleaning and care, and warnings regarding the respirators limitations.
