29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.      a) 437 Balltown Road in Niskayuna, NY. - On or about October 29th, 2014 - An employee was observed using a boom truck aerial lift without the use of a personal fall arrest system or equivalent to perform electrical work.  The employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 24 feet.      The Sign Studio Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942118, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 11/7/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3125 Carman Rd. in Schenectady NY.
