29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: Location: Jobsite: The employer failed to maintain surfaces as free as practicable of lead or below HUD's recommended level for acceptable decontamination of 200 ug/ft(2): Instance A) The microwave door handle in the Supervisors field office had 318.7 ug/ft2 lead. Instance B) The floor of the front room of the employee storage trailer, in the decon facility, had 787.5 ug/ft2 lead. Instance C) The floor of the rear room of the employee storage trailer, in the decon facility, had 1,972.2 ug/ft2 lead. Instance D) The bench in the men's clean room had 2,594.1 ug/ft2 lead. Instance E) The floor in the men's clean room had 4,595.6 ug/ft2 lead. Instance F) The floor in the ladies clean room had 3,834.7 ug/ft2 lead. Instance G) The decon facility main hall floor, outside the ladies clean room door had 6,809.5 ug/ft2. Instance H) The decon facility main hall floor, outside the men's clean room door had 4,062.8 ug/ft2. Instance I) The bench in the van being used as the lunch room had 753.8 ug/ft2. Instance J) The door knob on the door between the men's clean room and hallway had lead levels of 73ug(inside) and 18ug(outside). Instance K) The inside door knob, in the ladies clean room contained 56 ug lead. Instance L) The palm side of the right hand on an employee contained 23 ug lead, while he was using this hand to eat a sandwich and chips.

Instance B: The temporary chain railing on the cage ladder, employees used to access and egress the catenary scaffold on the eastbound side/span 20, was 27" on the left side and 37" on the right descending.
