29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided for immediate emergency use:     a) On or about 01/22/15 in the Nickel line; employer failed to protect employees against a more serious chemical burn when they allowed the eye wash station in the north west corner to be blocked with two 15 gallon containers and allowed a graduated cylinder to be placed inside the eye wash bowl.     b) On or about 01/22/15 at Line #2; employer failed to protect employees against struck by hazards when they allowed the eye wash station bowl, on the north portion of the tanks, to be used as a storage rack for the compressed air gun and a thermometer.      c) On or about 01/22/15 at Line #1; employer failed to protect employees against struck by hazards when they allowed the eye wash station bowl, on the north portion of the tanks, to be used as a storage rack for the compressed air gun and gloves. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED    Rochester Overnight Plating was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.335 (a) (1) (i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315095786, citation number  01, item number 004 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/09/11, with respect to a workplace located at2 Carin Street, Rochester, New York, 14611.

29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control box(es) were not clearly marked for identification of functions:  a) On or about 01/22/15 in the Line #2 area; employer failed to protect employees against contact with corrosive liquids when the push buttons on the pendant control box for the overhead crane were not legible.  This condition could create an incorrect action by the crane operator causing the parts rack to fall into the tank resulting in a splash of corrosive liquids.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
