29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a)  Fabrication Area:  Employees operated a Ellis horizontal bandsaw (model #1300, serial #18997402) that did not have a guard that was constructed to cover the unused portion of the saw blade during operation, as observed on January 28, 2015.  Abatement Certification Required for this Item.
