29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     On 01/29/2015, at the worksite located at Lot 3125, Simeon Bunker Street, Saint Charles, Missouri, an employee for Homes By Whittaker was observed standing on the truss top plate at the edge of the roof of a new residential structure at greater than 6 feet above the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening    On 01/29/2015, at the worksite located at Lot 3125, Simeon Bunker Court, Saint Charles, Missouri, employees for Homes by Whittaker were observed actively engaged in framing a new residential structure near unguarded wall openings.  The employees were observed working on the second floor of the structure at greater than 6 feet above the ground below.

The fall distance to the floor of the lower level is approximately 9 feet.
